The ride started out at Faith with about 30+ riders. Mostly Harleys but there was a few sport bikes and Goldwings. Many of the riders came from the West side (seatttle, Tacoma, etc) the day before or even the day of. After signing up we all left the church at about 9:30am
The first leg of the ride was a nice slow ride to Prosser, Wa. Lot of guys wanted coffee at Starbucks and some even needed to top off the tanks. From Prosser we took highway 97 which I have never been on toward Goldendale. This was a nice litte streach and we did end of stopping for a leg streach and photo op.
We came into Goldendale about lunchtime so everyone put kickstands down and found places to eat. I kept it cheap and had Subway. We left Goldendale about an hour later and headed back to town. We took the old Bickleton/Goldendale highway which I had been on before. We ended up coming up and over horse heaven hills and into Benton City which was all new to me. Will have to make that run again this summer. Over all the ride was nice and relaxing. Weather was great! I got great gas milage due to only reaching a top spead of 65mph!!! Thats what happens when you ride with a big group of Harleys.
